Children’s Health

Services are designed to promote and optimize children’s growth and development. Contact a Public Health nurse to access any of these services:

Preventing childhood injuries through Home Safety Checks and Car Seat programs.

Preventing illness through immunizations

Learn how to promote normal growth and development through the Child and Teen Checkup Program, Follow Along Program and Mead Movement Screening.

Connecting children with health, behavior or developmental delays to a wide variety of resources that help them optimize their skills and abilities.

Access to dental care and oral health education.

Reducing environmental hazards such as lead and nitrates.

Many services are available in our community and state to support families. A Public Health nurse can help you find the services you and your family want to receive.  Please contact our office to discuss your individual concerns.

Family Home Visiting is a voluntary program for expectant parents and parents of young children 0 – 6 years of age. Families will receive information and learn about resources available in the community for parents. Some families will receive further support through home visitation.
